Miles, a community of 462, is located on Hwy. 64. Economic
development is the primary interest for the community, light
industry, small business and housing are their three main goals.
Community celebrations include the Great River Threshing Reunion
the third weekend in July which will bring in thousands of
visitors to enjoy old-time threshing and steam tractor displays.

center of town, mature shade trees, includes picnic
area, shelter, playground equipment, restrooms and
basketball court.
Thresher Grounds: Exhibition hall and horse barns. Also
historic one-room country school house, blacksmith shop,
saw mill, log cabin, antique threshing machinery of all
